TPL provides central process exclusion on driver level. Process (and its child-process) will be excluded in BM and VirusScan.
Performance issue could have different indicators, in case customer want to leverage PML to improve endpoint performance, it’s advised to contact Trend Micro Technical Support for a comprehensive evaluation beforehand.

Add Office applications into TPL could exempt unexpected process, since Office applications may have add-ons and macros that not fully acknowledged/trusted by customers.

In addition, Apex One SaaS agent could feedback performance telemetry data and it could be used by Trend Micro Technical Support when customer want to know which process has more influence in terms of performance. Other than TPL, Trend Micro Technical Support may have different suggestion for performance improvement.
