Before you begin provisioning, make sure that:

  • You have a valid Cloud App Security for Salesforce license.
  • You have purchased the Salesforce environment with a license that supports RESTful APIs.
  • You have the administrator's credentials for your Salesforce environment.
  • You have not logged on to your Salesforce environment using any other user account.
  • Salesforce Essentials is not supported.

To provision a service account for Salesforce from Dashboard, do the following:

 
This procedure is specifically made for Salesforce Sandbox; however, the same steps also apply for Salesforce Production.
 
  1. Log on to the Cloud App Security management console.
  2. Hover over Salesforce Sandbox, and click Provision.

  3. Click the Click here link in Step 1.

  4. Specify your Salesforce Sandbox administrator credentials, and then click Log In to Sandbox.

  5. Install Trend Micro Cloud App Security. Select Install for All Users when prompted to install Trend Micro Cloud App Security, and then click the Install button.

  6. Wait for the installation to complete.

    You will receive an email after the installation has completed.

  7. Click Done.

  8. Go back to the Cloud App Security management console as instructed and click the Click here link in Step 2. This will open the SalesForce login page.

  9. Specify your Salesforce Sandbox administrator credentials, and then click Log In to Sandbox.

  10. Click Allow.

  11. Go back to the Cloud App Security management console as instructed, and click Done.

  12. Hover over the ring icon in the upper-right corner of the management console. If the message "Salesforce Sandbox protected." appears on the Notifications screen, the provisioning is successful.

  13. Go back to the CAS portal and enable an ATP policy for Salesforce Sandbox.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Sandbox as a normal user.
  2. Switch to Salesforce Chatter.
  3. Input a text line with a test URL in it.
