StellarOne Considerations

Assess on how you want StellarOne to acquire the pattern updates depending on your deployment scenario:

  • StellarOne gets update from Active Update Server (Internet)
    1. Log in to StellarOne console and go to Administration > Downloads & Updates > StellarOne.
    2. Make sure "Scan Component Update Source (StellarOne)" is set to "ActiveUpdate Server".

  • Managed StellarEnforce/StellarProtect gets update from StellarOne

  • Standalone StellarEnforce/StellarProtect gets update from Active Update Server (Internet)

    By default, standalone agent should acquire updates directly from Active Update Server.

      To check Update Source, you can use the command,

      SLCmd.exe show update -source

      To run an update, use the command,

      SLCmd.exe show start update
