To fix the issue, create another server and install DSM with the same files.log from the healthy installation. Follow these steps to uninstall DSM:

  1. On the working DSM, get a copy of the file C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Deep Security Manager\.install4j\files.log
  2. Paste files.log on the problematic server, then put it on C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Deep Security Manager\.install4j\ directory.
  3. Open Control Panel (appwiz.cpl) then uninstall Trend Micro Deep Security Manager.
  4. The Trend Micro Deep Security Manager entry on Control Panel may not disappear. Verify it on C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Deep Security Manager\ if the content files have been deleted.
  5. If deleted, right-click the entry in Control Panel and select Uninstall. Windows will prompt you to delete the entry.
