There is no pre-check for other antivirus and in some cases StellarProtect may even install successfully. However, if a problem is encountered during installation, then the other installed antivirus may be causing the issue. It is suggested to perform isolation of the other antivirus program if possible.

  1. Identify the installed antivirus program by checking the following:
    • appwiz.cpl
    • C:\Program Files\<AV Program/Vendor Name>
  2. If possible, uninstall the conflicting antivirus program. If there are issues with the uninstallation, check with the antivirus program vendor.
