There is no pre-check for other antivirus and in some cases StellarProtect may even install successfully. However, if a problem is encountered during installation, then the other installed antivirus may be causing the issue. It is suggested to perform isolation of the other antivirus program if possible.
- Identify the installed antivirus program by checking the following:
- appwiz.cpl
- C:\Program Files\<AV Program/Vendor Name>
- If possible, uninstall the conflicting antivirus program. If there are issues with the uninstallation, check with the antivirus program vendor.
