To provision a service account for Dropbox from Cloud App Security web console, do the following:

  1. Log on to the Cloud App Security management console.
  2. Hover over Dropbox, and click Provision.

  3. The Provision Service Account for Dropbox screen appears. Click the Click here link.

  4. On the Dropbox logon screen, specify your Dropbox Team Admin credentials and click Sign In.
  5. Once the Dropbox authorization window appears, click Allow.

  6. Go back to the Cloud App Security management console.
  7. In the upper-right corner of the management console, hover over the bell icon and verify if the Dropbox provisioning has succeeded.

  8. Cloud App Security generates the following folders in the Dropbox administrator's root directory:
    • Quarantine folder (trendmicro_cas_quarantine__dont_change_or_delete)
      The Quarantine folder can be accessed only by the administrator.
    • Temporary folder (trendmicro_cas_temp__dont_change_or_delete)
      The Temporary folder can be edited by all users.

  9. To avoid unnecessary notifications, all users must exclude the temporary folder (trendmicro_cas_temp__dont_change_or_delete) from their synchronization list. Perform the following steps as a user:
    1. Locate and click the Dropbox tray icon on your desktop.
    2. Click the settings icon and choose Preferences.

    3. Click the Update tab and click Selective Sync.

    4. Clear the check box of the temporary folder (trendmicro_cas_temp__dont_change_or_delete).
