To provision a service account for Gmail from the Cloud App Security web console, do the following:

  1. Log on to the Cloud App Security management console.
  2. Hover over Gmail, and click Provision.

  3. The Provision Service Account for Gmail screen appears. Click the Click here link.

  4. When the Google Workspace Marketplace appears for Trend Micro Cloud App Security application, do either of the following:
    • If the Cloud App Security application is not installed:
      1. Click ADMIN INSTALL. A new window appears for you to sign in to Google.

      2. Specify your Google Super Admin credentials, click Next and then click CONTINUE. An authorization screen appears.

      3. Tick I agree to the application's Terms of Service and Google Workspace Marketplace Terms of Service and click Accept to start installation.

    • If the Cloud App Security application is already installed:
      1. Log on to Google Workspace Admin Console as a Google Super Admin.
      2. Go to Apps > Google Workplace Marketplace apps and locate Trend Micro Cloud App Security.

      3. Click Data access and then click Grant data access. The "Status: Granted" message will appear.

  5. Go back to the Cloud App Security management console.
  6. Hover over Gmail, and click Provision. This will show the Provision Service Account for Gmail screen.

  7. This time, click the Click here link for Step 2.

  8. In the new window that appears, click your Google Super Admin account, and once the authorization screen, click Allow.
  9. Go back to the Cloud App Security management console as instructed and click Done.
     
    Cloud App Security will start to synchronize your Gmail user and group information. The time required depends on how many users and groups you have in Gmail.
     
  10. In the upper-right corner of the management console, hover over the bell icon and verify if the Gmail provisioning has succeeded.
