Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the WFBS-SVC web console.
  2. Go to the Configure Policy screen by performing one of the following:
    • Classic Mode: Go to SECURITY AGENTS and select a group. Click on the vertical ellipsis > Configure Policy.
    • Advanced Mode: Go to POLICIES > Policy Management. Click Add or click an existing policy.
  3. Click WindowsWindows.
  4. Go to Privileges and Other Settings.
  5. Click Alerts.
  6. Select the types of security events to display a notification above the Security Agent icon when the specified events occur.

  7. Click Save.

If the option "Configured alert settings" is checked under Privileges and Other Settings > Privileges, it indicates that the user can modify the alerts they want to display on the system tray icon of their agent. When unchecked, it means that the user is restricted to modify which alerts they want to see on the system tray icon.

To check whether the agent has already received the policy, do the following steps:

  1. Right-click on the Trend Micro system tray icon and select Open Security Agent Console.
  2. Select Settings.
