For Clients with Enforcement Agent
For client with Enforcement Agent installed, users do not need to make any changes.
When the client is connected in such network, the Enforcement Agent will check the internet accessibility, and will disable the proxy temporarily.
After client finishes the captive portal authentication, and the internet is accessible, enforcement agent will set the proxy again.
For client that uses cloud PAC file in proxy setting
Customers can do one of the following:
- Manually disable the proxy PAC file before visiting captive portal. After the authentication is done, customer could enable the proxy PAC file again.
- Start an in-private window, then try to open the captive portal. If the portal can be opened, do authentication.
- If the address of captive portal is known. The administrator could add the captive portal address to the cloud PAC file, before client connects to this network.
