Follow these steps:

  1. On the WFBS Server, open C:\TMPatch.log using text editor (ie: Notepad++).
  2. Check the latest patch installation log by searching for the "Log Start" keyword.

  3. Search for "fail]" keyword from the beginning of the latest Log Start.
  4. Look for the file that failed to be copied. As an example,

  5. Go to the destination directory.
  6. Rename the affected file by appending .old to the filename. As an example:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\web\cgi\isapiclient.dll > isapiclient.dll.old

  7. Re-run the patch.

If the patch installation still failed, look for new errors in the latest logs.

If issue persists, submit the C:\TMPatch.log to Trend Micro Technical Support .
