  • 2022/10/21: Deep Security Agent version 20.0.0-5512 was removed from the Trend Micro Software Download Center and Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security.

In Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security, the DSA will continue to work and you will receive a "matching module plug-in not found" message or "local plug-in in use" similar to the screenshot below.

If you are still using DSA version 20.0.0-5512, It is recommended to upgrade the version 20.0.0-5761 or higher to avoid the memory leak issue.

[UPDATE]
As of 2022/10/23, the DSA version 20.0.0-5761 has been removed due to an identified issue that may trigger BSOD on Windows Server 2016/2019 or Windows 11. For more details, please refer to this article.

Note:

  • For computers that already have high memory usage for the dsa-connect process, make sure to restart the DSA service(ds_agent) before upgrading the DSA.
  • If the Agent Version Control is set specifically to use the version 20.0.0-5512, please ensure that this is updated so the agent will be upgraded.

In Deep Security Software, the DSA will continue to work and you will not get a similar message above because the build 5512 is still in the inventory of the Deep Security Relay. Make sure the build 20.0.0-5761 or higher is imported in the Relay.
