To change the Scheduled Scan:

 
Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
 
  1. Unload the Apex Agent, then open Registry Editor.
  2. Navigate to the following Registry Hive:
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Prescheduled Scan Configuration
  3. Look for the "Hour" registry entry.

  4. Edit the value and select Decimal.
  5. Change the value to 1 to 12, depending on the time needed for the agent to perform the scheduled scan.

  6. Look for the AmPm registry entry, then change the value:
    • For AM, set the value to 1
    • For PM, set the value to 2

  7. Reload the Security Agent afterward. This should modify the Scheduled Scan Time.
