Views:
Do the following:
  1. Login to the Apex One web console.
  2. Go to Administration > Smart Protection > Smart Protection Sources.
  3. Choose standard list for all internal agents or Use custom lists based on agent IP address > click Add.
  4. Enter the IP address or FQDN of the Standalone Smart Protection Server.
  5. Enable File Reputation Service:
    • HTTP: Port 80
    • HTTPS: Port 443 (Enable SSL)
  6. Enable Web Reputation Services.
    • HTTP: Port 5274
    • HTTPS: Apex One ONLY supports HTTP for Web Reputation Service (WRS) scan queries when connecting to Standalone Smart Protection Server.
  7. Click Test Connection to check if it can successfully connect.
  8. Click Save > Save and Notify Agents.

Apex One agents will use HTTPS when sending WRS scan queries to the Smart Protection Network (SPN).

To enable this setting, do the following:

  1. Login to the Apex One web console.
  2. Go to Agents > Agent Management.
  3. Click Settings > Web Reputation Settings.
  4. Under Query Settings > Enable Check HTTPS URLs and Send queries to Smart Protection Servers.
  5. Click Apply to All Agents.
