- Login to the Apex One web console.
- Go to Administration > Smart Protection > Smart Protection Sources.
- Choose standard list for all internal agents or Use custom lists based on agent IP address > click Add.
- Enter the IP address or FQDN of the Standalone Smart Protection Server.
- Enable File Reputation Service:
- HTTP: Port 80
- HTTPS: Port 443 (Enable SSL)
- Enable Web Reputation Services.
- HTTP: Port 5274
- HTTPS: Apex One ONLY supports HTTP for Web Reputation Service (WRS) scan queries when connecting to Standalone Smart Protection Server.
- Click Test Connection to check if it can successfully connect.
- Click Save > Save and Notify Agents.
Apex One agents will use HTTPS when sending WRS scan queries to the Smart Protection Network (SPN).
To enable this setting, do the following:
- Login to the Apex One web console.
- Go to Agents > Agent Management.
- Click Settings > Web Reputation Settings.
- Under Query Settings > Enable Check HTTPS URLs and Send queries to Smart Protection Servers.
- Click Apply to All Agents.
