When checking <TMUT Installation Path>/iau_server, there is a file named iaurelay.tmlock.

If iaurelay.tmlock exists, do the following:
  1. Go to system tray > Right-click TMUT icon > Click Exit.
  2. Backup or move the iaurelay.tmlock to another folder.
  3. Using services.msc, do the following:
    • Stop the TMUT service manually.
    • Start the TMUT service manually.
  4. Start TMUT tool and try to update again.

If the issue persists, collect the following files:
  1. Configuration files (located at TMUT installation path):
    • productInfo.ini
    • filter.xml
    • config.xml
    • server.xml
  2. Log files
    • <TMUT installation path>\Tmutlogfile.txt 
    • <TMUT installation path>\servicelogfile.txt
    • ..\ relay\iaulogs\aurelay.log
    • ..\ relay\iaulogs\TmuDump.txt
