Follow these instructions:

  1. Download the Service Gateway 2.0 firmware from the Vision One console.

  2. Deploy the OVA package.
  3. Shutdown old Service Gateway 1.0 Appliance virtual machine.
  4. Register the Service Gateway to Vision One.
    1. Obtain the Service Gateway Registration Token.

    2. Register Service Gateway 2.0 to Vision One.

      If the new Service Gateway 2.0 fails to register to the Vision One, use the self-diagnostic steps to narrow down the network issue.

    3. Migrate Service Gateway 1.0 to Service Gateway 2.0.

After registering Service Gateway 2.0 to Vision one, the issue is fixed.

In this scenario, Service Gateway 1.0 is not able to upgrade to the Service Gateway 2.0 directly.

Follow these instructions:

  1. Refer to the Help Center article, Upgrading from Service Gateway 1.0 to 2.0.
  2. Click Upgrade to Service Gateway 2.0 to sync the configuration and download the firmware.

    Module state

    Please ensure that your firewall allows the "Setting synchronization" and "Update files" FQDN.

    For normal regions, refer to the Help Center article, Ports and URLs Used by the Service Gateway Virtual Appliance to find the FQDN.
    For ADDA customers, please contact Trend Micro Support to obtain the FQDN list.

  3. The current requirement is to upgrade from 1.0.0.10125 (minimum requirement before upgrading to version 2.0), otherwise the upgrade button will not show.

If Service Gateway 1.0 is still unable upgrade to Service Gateway 2.0 successfully, please collect the logs from the CLI console and submit a new case to Trend Micro Support.
