Initial Requirements

Users need to have a Trend Vision One account.

Steps

  1. Deployment of Service Gateway and Basic Configuration. Follow this KB article for detailed instructions.
  2. Enable Service Gateway Smart Protection Service:
    1. Open the Trend Vision One Console and go to Workflow and Automation > Service Gateway Management, select your service gateway.

    2. Click the service gateway name and enter the service gateway details page.

      Manage Services

    3. Choose Manage Services and then click install the Smart Protection Services.

    4. Wait for the installation to finish. The service will be shown in the service list.

  3. Configure on-premises products to use the Smart Protection Service via the Service Gateway. Please refer to the following details:
    • File Reputation Service Configuration:
      • Ports: HTTP 80, HTTPS 443
      • Connection format: http(s)://<IP address or FQDN of the Service Gateway>/tmcss

      Examples:

      http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/tmcss

      https://TMSG.lab/tmcss

    • Web Reputation Service Configuration:
      • Ports: HTTP 5274, HTTPS 5275
      • Connection format: http(s)://<IP address or FQDN of the Service Gateway>:<port>

      Examples:

      http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:5274

      https://TMSG.lab:5275
