To resolve the issue, perform the following steps:
- On the Apex Central On-premise server, stop the following services.
- Trend Micro Apex Central
- Trend Micro Management Infrastructure
- World Wide Web Publishing Service
- Using a text editor, open SystemConfiguration.xml, located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Control Manager\
- Modify the following value.

- Save the file.
- Start the stopped services in Step 1.
- To verify, wait for next Smart Scan Agent Pattern update in Apex Central side and check it again.
