Summary
Trend Hosted Service Gateway is mainly focused on reducing efforts on standard Service Gateway deployment. It enables quick and easy setup of your network environment, and will be automatically revoked in 90 days or when a local Service Gateway Appliance has been deployed.
Features:
- Hosted Service Gateway only supports forward proxy service. Other services are not supported.
- Hosted Service Gateway supports upgrade, including firmware and forward proxy service.
- Hosted Service Gateway supports update certificates like standard service gateway.
- Hosted Service Gateway can also be registered.
Limitations:
- Since Hosted Service Gateway is focused on customer POC, one customer can only have one Hosted Service Gateway registered.
- Hosted Service Gateway will be removed in 90 days. You may register a new one after the old one is removed.
- Hosted Service gateway does not support proxy since it owner in trend environment.
- Hosted Service Gateway is not compatible with standard service gateway. If you have standard service gateway with forward proxy service enabled, Hosted Service Gateway will be revoked.
- Hosted Service Gateway does not support IPv6.
How to use Trend Hosted Service Gateway:
- Log in to the XDR console, and go to WORKFLOW AND AUTOMATION > Service Gateway Management.
- Click Register to enable Trend Hosted Service Gateway. This step may take a couple of minutes. After the registration process is finished, Trend Hosted Service Gateway will be listed on the Service Gateway Management table.
- Configure the Trend Hosted Service Gateway IP with port 443 and 8080 in your firewall. The Trend Hosted Service Gateway IP will show on the Service Gateway Management table. Please note that the IP will also be the Internet IP.
