When attempting to execute applications, it is observed that it is being blocked by Trend Micro Apex One with the reason 'Newly Encountered Program Detected', causing production to be stopped.
To resolve this issue, it is recommended to add the detected application to the exception list of Apex One. This can be done by following these steps:
- Go to Apex Central.
- Select 'Policies'.
- Click 'Policy Management'.
- Select the policy you wish to configure.
- Click on 'Behavior Monitoring'.
- Select 'Exceptions'.
- Add the full program path of that detected Application
- Click 'Save and deploy'.
- Wait for a few minutes for the changes to reflect to the Security Agent machine.
- You may also want to force an update on the Security Agent side by right clicking the Security Agent icon then click 'Update'.
By following the above steps, the application will be added to the exception list of Apex One and will no longer be blocked, allowing users to perform application tests and production to resume as normal.
