When upgrading or downgrading customer license, here’s the recommended action to take:

Go to Users & Licenses › Customers › {Customer Name}, click “Assign Individual Service Plan”

On the list of Service Plan, choose the license you wish the customer to upgrade to (in this example, Worry Free XDR is selected to upgrade customer license)

After choosing the correct Service Plan, all included products will show up. LMP is able to detect if there’s a “Duplicate” license or none.
(for this example, customer license is upgrade from Worry-Free Services standalone to WFXDR) -
For duplicate products, LMP will automatically transfer duplicate service licenses from existing service plan to the new one. This process is called “Crossgrade”.
When downgrading customer license, from WFXDR to Worry-Free Services standalone, perform the same steps listed above. Once successful, a new tab called “Unbundled Licenses” will appear in LMP.
Under this tab, MSP has the option to delete the existing Product/Service (if not in use) or continue to use it until the set Expiration Date.
