To address this issue:

  1. Open aucfg.ini file in Apex Central installation root folder.
  2. Add these three lines of configuration setting in the end of the configuration file.

    Configuration for the solution

    [common] 
    delete_invalid_packages=1 
    delete_directory_list=pattern;
  3. Save the changes of the configuration file.
  4. Wait for 15 minutes, the issue should be solved.
