Follow these steps:
- Check Service Gateway 1.0 installed services and configuration.
- Install Service Gateway 3.0 and register it to the Trend Vision One console.
- Make sure planned Service Gateway 3.0 network is able to access FQDN specified by the following table.

sgi-iot.sg.xdr.trendmicro.com - Refer to the Help Center article, Deploying a Service Gateway Virtual Appliance with VMware ESXi, to install Service Gateway 3.0 and register it to Trend Vision One console.
Note that the Service Gateway 3.0 IP address should be different from Service Gateway 1.0 IP.
- Make sure planned Service Gateway 3.0 network is able to access FQDN specified by the following table.
- Configure Service Gateway 3.0 and install services.
- Service Gateway 3.0 can configure auto update settings and SSL/TLS certificate as Service Gateway 1.0. As for the bandwidth control, network device has better experience than Service Gateway, so it is deleted. Service Gateway 3.0 also provides hostname update and other features. For these other features, keep the default settings.
- Service Gateway 3.0 provides more services than Service Gateway 1.0. You may install the same services as Service Gateway 1.0, as it supports install/uninstall or enable/disable services.
For third-party intelligence synchronization services, Service Gateway 3.0 has divide the service to two other services. For details, refer to the Help Center article, Service Gateway Services.
- Delete/unregister Service Gateway 1.0 and update Service Gateway 3.0 IP address to the same IP as Service Gateway 1.0.
- Unregister Service Gateway 1.0 and delete Service Gateway 1.0.
Unregister Service Gateway 1.0 from Trend Vision One console, then shut down / delete Service Gateway 1.0 VM.
- Update Service Gateway 3.0 IP address to Service Gateway 1.0 IP address with Clish command:
configure network primary ipv4.static <interface> <ip_cidr><gateway><dns1>[dns2][cni]
- Unregister Service Gateway 1.0 and delete Service Gateway 1.0.
