To start the onboarding process:
- Access the email sent by the Licensing/Sales Team which contains the product license and activation link. Click on the activation link to start.
- In the Activate Solutions for your registered business window, choose the Activate the license under my registered business option.
- Enter the email address used for the CLP account with the managed Trend Micro products.
Provide the password for the CLP account.
- Acknowledge the Trend Micro Agreement, Privacy Notice, and Data Collection Notice by ticking the checkbox and then clicking Activate.
- A screen will be show indicating features of Foundation Based Vision One. Click I Agree to Update.
- A System Update Notice window will be shown. After reviewing and agreeing, tick the checkbox for confirmation, and then click the Start the Update button.
- Upgrade path will depend on the following conditions:
- ID format (Is it an email address or not)
- Account is the same or not the same as Cloud One account
- Trend Vision One informs you that it needs an email address to serve as primary user account. Input new account email and confirm email then click Verify Email.
- A system generated email would be sent to customer containing a verification code.
- Enter the verification code and click Submit.
- Create a new password, confirm it, and then click Reset Password.
- A window notifying you that the password update was successful. Click Close to continue on activation process.
- Trend Vision One informs you that the existing Trend Micro Cloud One account matches the Primary user account for Trend Vision One, and requires you to specify the Trend Micro Cloud one password to merge the 2 accounts.
- One of the following will happen, depending on your MFA settings:
- If MFA is enabled on Trend Micro Cloud One, enter the MFA verification code then click Next.
- If MFA is disabled on Trend Micro Cloud One, you will be required to reset the password. Create a new password and confirm password the click Reset Password.
- You will be notified that the password update was successful. Click Close to continue on activation process.
- Wait for the Activation process to finish.
- Depending on the license(s) activated, one of the following can happen:
- If the license(s) contain Enterprise products ONLY, the "Activation Successful" status will be shown, and the system will send a confirmation email containing the activation details.
- If the license(s) contain SMB products, the "Activation successful" status will be shown, and additionally gives the option to access the Trend Vision One portal or Customer Licensing Portal to manage the activated solutions. Choose accordingly.
When completed, a confirmation email will be received containing the activated Trend Micro products.
- Sign in to the Trend Vision One console.
- Choose the Data Center Region for the Trend Vision One console.
- Wait for the Provision process to finish.
Once finished, the Product License Information will be shown on the Trend Vision One console.
- Navigate to Platform Directory and a guided introduction to Trend Vision One will be shown. Under the Security Functions window, click Go to App and select Email Account Inventory.
- It will open the page where you can provision Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection and Email Gateway Protection.
