If the 'Scan Now' button is disabled in Apex One as a Service, users can still initiate remote scanning through the Trend Vision One console. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. On the Trend Vision One console, navigate to Endpoint Security Operation > Endpoint Inventory.
  2. Select the endpoint you want to scan, click on 'Response,' and choose 'Scan for Malware.'
  3. A pop-up window will appear, to proceed click on 'create.'
  4. To monitor the task, go to Workflow and Automation > Response Management.
