Customers may encounter issues with RDP connections after installing the TrendMicro agent on Windows 2022 Standard servers. The RDP connection starts but suddenly disconnects before the desktop appears. This issue may be caused by the TrendMicro agent blocking certain RDP components.
To resolve this issue, customers can add the following RDP components to the Windows Trusted Program List and the Behavior Monitoring exclusion list:
- C:\Windows\System32\dwm.exe
- C:\Windows\System32\dwm.dll
- C:\Windows\system32\termsrv.dll
After adding these components, customers should wait for and manually update the Security Agent. They should also monitor if the issue persists.
