If you are experiencing errors on Deep Security Agents, it is possible that the issue is related to the communication between the Deep Security Manager and the Deep Security Agent/Appliance. To troubleshoot the issue, please follow the steps below:
- Check the network connectivity between the Manager and the Agent/Appliance.
- Ensure that the correct ports are open and that there are no firewalls or proxies blocking the communication.
- Verify that the Agent is online and reachable from the Manager.
- Verify that the Agent version is compatible with the Manager version.
- If the issue persists, try restarting the Agent service on the affected machine.
In addition, it is recommended to upgrade the Agent to the latest DSA version after upgrading the DS Relay to the latest DSA version. The version of the Agent being used by the customer is a bit old, and the latest version includes bug fixes and enhancements.
