Summary
To increase the security posture of Trend Vision One customers and comply with PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) regulation requirements, starting April 15th, 2024 Trend Vision One Endpoint Sensor will no longer support TLS1.0 and 1.1. All endpoints must be capable of supporting TLS 1.2 by this date. Failure to comply will prevent Endpoint Sensor agents from updating. Additionally, after January 2025, Endpoint Sensor agents not supporting TLS 1.2 will lose connectivity to Trend Vision One.
TLS 1.0/1.1 are considered insecure protocols. Trend Micro recommends users enable TLS 1.2 support in their environments.
For minimum Windows Update KB required to Support TLS 1.2, please refer to this list: Microsoft Update Catalog
