The mechanism creates inoperable Endpoint Sensors, and the maintenance is designed to clean up them.

Maintenance Schedule

The elimination maintenance will start on April 22, 2024 and continue to analyze and remove inoperable Endpoint Sensor until the end of Q4 of 2024. Below are the details:

Maintenance Impact

During the maintenance period, the inoperable Endpoint Sensor agent entries will be cleaned up from the Endpoint Inventory App. While these entries are generally not visible and do not affect the majority of customers, some entries are visible to some customers. Specifically, users may notice the removal of these dummy Endpoint Sensor entries from the Endpoint Inventory App.

How do I know if some Endpoint Sensors are removed by the operation?

You can identify removed Endpoint Sensors through the audit logs in the Audit App.

  1. On the Trend Vision One console navigate to Audit App.
  2. Search the audit logs with a suspicious XDR device ID.
  3. Check if the Endpoint Sensor was removed on the operation date with the Reason Support Operator.
