Procedure:

1. Log in to the SMS from a client.
2. On the top Navigation menu, click Profiles.
3. On the left Navigation menu, select Inspection Profiles.
4. Do one of the following:
   • From the Profile Inventory area, select a profile and click Distribute.
   • From the Profile Inventory area, select a profile, and then from the Menu Bar, select the File > Distribute to Device >Inspection Profile menu item.
   • Click the profile from the Profiles navigation pane, expand the tab, select Profile Overview, and then click Distribute.
   • Right-click an entry in the Profile Inventory table and select Distribute.
   • Click Details and then click Distribute.
5. In the Profile Inventory section, select a profile entry to distribute. You can also distribute a profile from the Profile > Details screen. The Profiles - Profile Distribution dialog displays.
6. To distribute a profile, select the profile checkbox in the Targets area.
7. To distribute a profile to device segments, make the following selections in the Targets area:
   • Allow Segment Selection
   • Segment Group from the Organize By drop-down box
   • Device segment check box for each entry you want to distribute.
8. For a high-priority distribution, select the High Priority check box.
9. Click OK.
