Procedure:

  1. Log in to the SMS from a client.
  2. From the top navigation pane, click Profiles. The Profiles screen displays.
  3. From the navigation pane on the left, click the + sign next to the Inspection Profiles to expand the category.
  4. From the navigation pane on the left, locate and expand the Profile you will be working with.
  5. On the profile that you are working withclick User Defined Filters.
  6. Click on the Reputation/Geo option.
  7. Select the Exceptions tab.
  8. Select a restriction in the Exceptions area and click Edit.
  9. Modify the Name for the restriction.
  10. Select "Locked" if you want to lock the settings.
  11. For the Source IP Address, modify the IP address and select the format. Formats include CIDR, IP Mask, and Any IP.
  12. For the Destination IP Address, modify the IP address and select the format. Formats include CIDR, IP Mask, and Any IP.
  13. Click OK.
