These types of errors can be generated when the device is in a busy or non-responsive state at the same time that you are attempting to perform a profile distribution. In order to resolve the issue perform the following steps at the earliest opportunity;

  1. Reboot the device
  2. Place the device into Layer-2-Fallback(L2FB)
  3. Re-distribute the new profile.
  4. Place the device back in normal operation
