The SA is not showing in the Security Server console and its GUID field is blank.

To check if the GUID field is blank, right-click on the Security Agent icon in the system tray and click on Component Versions.

To resolve the issue, do the following:

 
Always back up the registry before making any changes to avoid potential issues.
  1. Open the Registry Editor:
    • Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter
  2. Navigate to the Registry Key:
    • Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TrendMicro\.
    • Right-click on TMSecurityService and select Delete.

  3. Update the SA and wait for a few minutes for the GUID to be generated correctly.
  4. Verify the GUID Field is filled and check if the agent is showing in the Security Server Console.
