Why is Smart App Control blocking my installation?

Windows Smart App Control may identify the security agent installer as an untrusted application and block it automatically to protect the system.

Initially, Smart App Control runs in evaluation mode. If Windows determines the endpoint is a suitable candidate, the feature is automatically turned on. When enabled, this can potentially block the Trend Micro Apex One security agent installation process.

Users will need to manually turn off Smart App Control to allow the Trend Micro Apex One security agent installation to proceed.
