What changes should I expect during the Web Service Communicator migration?

The legacy Web Service Communicator service and its associated executable are being removed and relocated to the Endpoint Basecamp "vom" module path.

Take note of the following details:

  • The Web Service Communicator Service will be removed.
  • The WSCommunicator.exe process (version 1.1.0.5066 and earlier) will no longer exist.
  • The directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Endpoint Basecamp\modules\wsc will be migrated to C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Endpoint Basecamp\modules\vom\modules\WSCommunicator.
