Trend Micro will deploy updated April 2025 build to mitigate this issue on following schedule:

Batch 1 Date: April 16, 2025

Batch 2 Date: April 23, 2025

Batch 3 Date: April 30, 2025

Customer that has already received the April 2025 build (14.0.14490) are advised to hold off security agent program upgrades.

Workaround

Users that have already deployed affected build can add MS Office App process on Behavior Monitoring Exception List as temporary workaround.

  1. Configure Behavior Monitoring Exception on Apex One Security Agent Policies:

  2. Add the Microsoft Office App process(es) that needs to access and save files on network folders.
    Please ensure correct process path added by verifying app properties.

  3. Save and deploy the policy.
 
Adding process to the exception list will allow the program to bypass Behavior Monitoring scanning.
It is recommeded to remove the process from exeption once the fixed build is deployed to resume Behavior Monitoring scanning.
