Synchronization Flow
- Suspicious Objects Management (SOM) of Endpoint Security acts as the primary source of Suspicious Objects.
- Standard Endpoint Protection (Trend Micro Apex Central™) Server automatically retrieves the latest Suspicious Objects from SOM every 5 minutes.
- Trend Micro Apex One™ Server tries to fetch updated Suspicious Objects from the registered Trend Micro Apex Central Server every 10 minutes.
- Standard Endpoint Protection / Trend Micro Apex One Security Agent synchronizes with Trend Micro Apex One Server every 10 minutes (default polling interval) to obtain the latest Suspicious Objects.
This hierarchical synchronization ensures timely and consistent distribution of Suspicious Objects across all Security Agent endpoints.
Recommendations
- Ensure that all servers and agents are properly configured to perform scheduled synchronizations.
- Regularly check synchronization logs to verify successful updates.
- Maintain network stability to avoid synchronization failures.
- If synchronization delays or failures occur, refer to the relevant product documentation or contact Trend Micro Technical Support for assistance.
