Summary:
TippingPoint SMS v6.6.0 and newer will utilize a new domain to connect with the Threat Management Center (TMC) for auto-download of DV and other packages. All SMS’s upgraded to 6.6.0 and later will automatically start using the domains.
Customers who apply domain-level access control on their firewall and/or proxies may require a configuration change as part of the upgrade process to SMS v6.6.0; to allow access to the new domains, as described in the table below:
Note: this does not impact the web UI/front end to TMC, and users can continue to point their browser to https://tmc.tippingpoint.com for manual download of packages.
