Steps to Transition from Sandbox as a Service in Deep Discovery Virtual Appliance to Trend Vision One Sandbox Analysis
- Ensure your Deep Discovery Virtual Appliance upgrade to the version 6.8 or above to support Trend Vision One Sandbox Analysis service.
- Upgrade package is available on the Trend Micro download center.

- Obtain a New License.
- If your Sandbox as a Service entitlement is about to expire, contact your Trend Micro representative to renew with a new Trend Vision One Sandbox Analysis license.
- If you would like to transition before your current Sandbox as a Service entitlement expires, contact your Trend Micro representative to obtain the Trend Vision One Sandbox Analysis license to replace your existing entitlement.
- Disable Sandbox as a Service function from your Deep Discovery Inspector Web Console.
- Go to Administration > Virtual Analyzer > Setup.
- Uncheck the “Submit files to Virtual Analyzer” option and then Save.
- Activate your Trend Vision One Sandbox Analysis License.

- Connect your Deep Discovery Inspector Virtual Appliance to Trend Vision One.

- Enable “Send to sandbox” function in Trend Vision One Network Inventory.
- Go to NETWORK SECURITY > Network Inventory in Trend Vision One console, select your Deep Discovery Inspector Virtual Appliance.
- From the “Configure Sandbox Settings” menu, enable the Turn on Send to Sandbox option.
This will allow Deep Discovery Virtual Appliance to automatically send suspicious object samples to a virtual sandbox for analysis
