What's New

The following new features are now available in Cloud App Security and Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection:

  • Support for multiple administrator email addresses in email reporting

The "Report to administrator" option in the email reporting settings now supports up to 10 email addresses within the current organization, a significant improvement from the previous limit of just one. This enhancement provides greater flexibility in notifying multiple stakeholders when emails are reported by end users, thereby improving visibility and coordination of responses across teams.

  • Automatic reversal of false positive quarantines extended to SharePoint Online

False positive quarantines in SharePoint Online can be automatically reversed, in addition to those in OneDrive. Utilizing advanced URL pattern intelligence, Trend Micro Cloud App Security/Trend Vision One Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection detects false positives, retrieves file details from detection logs, and restores affected files to their original locations—all without the need for manual intervention.

  • Email tracking log enhancement for inline protection: sender IP column added

The email tracking log for Exchange Online (Inline Mode) now includes a sender IP column, showing the IP address first received by Microsoft Exchange Online. This feature enhances visibility into email origins for investigation and auditing purposes.
Please note that if Trend Micro Email Security or Trend Vision One Cloud Email Gateway Protection is deployed before Microsoft Exchange Online, the sender IP displayed will reflect the IP address received by the corresponding Trend Micro solution.

  • Enhanced audit log details for policy configuration updates

Trend Micro Cloud App Security/Trend Vision One Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection offers enhanced visibility into policy configuration changes within audit logs. Administrators can access detailed records of specific settings that were modified, including updates to the approved and blocked lists in policies. This functionality improves traceability and accountability, facilitating easier troubleshooting during policy reviews or investigations.

  • Approved sender list for Data Loss Prevention policy in Exchange Online

Trend Micro Cloud App Security/Trend Vision One Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection enables the configuration of an approved sender list within the Data Loss Prevention policy, allowing specific senders to be excluded from scanning in Exchange Online. This applies to both API-based protection and inline protection modes.
