Background

This lack of support in third-party libraries impacts our ability to:

  • Upgrade Trend Vision One Endpoint Security agents deployed on RHEL 6 and CentOS 6.
  • Address vulnerabilities and deliver feature updates.
  • Maintain compatibility with other Trend Vision One components.

Support Strategy

Effective immediately, Trend Vision One Endpoint Security on RHEL 6 and CentOS 6 will enter limited support status:

  • Limited Support Includes
    • Anti Malware pattern updates
    • Intrusion Prevention, Integrity Monitoring, and Log Inspection rule updates
  • Limited Support Excludes
    • New features and enhancements
    • Kernel updates
    • Bug fixes
    • Vulnerability fixes
