If you have agents running AC that have NOT been upgraded to 20.0.2-29760, do not upgrade these agents.

If you have agents running AC that have been upgraded to 20.0.2-29760, perform the following actions in order:

  1. Disable AC block/lockdown mode for all agents with this agent version that have AC enabled.
  2. Downgrade all agents with AC enabled to a previous agent version.
  3. If the downgraded agents had AC block/lockdown mode enabled, re-enable AC block/lockdown mode if desired.
 

Update as of December 24, 2025

  • Trend Micro recall the release of Build 20.0.2-29760 for Trend Vision One Server & Workload Protection, Trend Cloud One Workload Security, and Trend Micro Deep Security to mitigate the risk on December 19, 2025.

    After package recall, the agent status switched to local plugin mode because the server does not have this package. The protection is not impacted. Customers who upgrade to the next release build or any official release package on the server will recover the agent status.

  • Trend Micro will publish a new official build 20.0.2-29810 to fix this AC issue on December 24, 2025.
