Specifically, some areas where TrendAI is placing extra effort and increased visibility on:
 
  • Threat Intelligence and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs):
    • TrendAI's threat research and intelligence are actively monitoring for specific region-relevant threat activity and emerging attack patterns. Where applicable, validated indicators - such as malicious IPs, domains, URLs and file hashes - are continuously incorporated and shared into our detection and protection capabilities of our Vision One platform and other technology to help identify and proactively block suspicious activity at an early stage. 
  • Enhanced Vigilance for Managed Detection & Response (MDR):
    • TrendAI Vision One Services - Managed Detection and Response (MDR) customers (including Vision One Services - Complete) are proactively monitored by TrendAI's MDR operations teams - including continuous analysis of telemetry, correlation of signals across multiple security layers, and proactive threat hunting based on newly identified intelligence and behavioral patterns. Our MDR operations teams are maintaining a heightened awareness and extra proactive monitoring throughout the region, as well as globally. As usual, any confirmed high-risk activity will be investigated and handled in accordance with our established MDR communication and response processes. 
  • Heightened Sensitivity of Customer Success Teams:
    • TrendAI's Customer Success teams both globally and in the MEA are proactively focused on increased coordination and streamlined execution for the region during this time, both within TrendAI's cross-functional teams as well with our customers and partners. Several initatives have already been launched within TrendAI to provide extra support to the region in terms of monitoring, streamlined escalation, and rapid decision-making and delivery for customers who may be impacted. This structured collaboration ensures that TrendAI Customer Success is prepared to manage any major security developments promptly and deliver seamless, customer-focused support across the region.

 

As always, and not specifically limited to the current events, all TrendAI customers are encouraged to be extra vigilant during this time. As the threat of increased activity is heightened during this time, customers are reminded to ensure that their critical systems (especially security) are up-to-date. Proactive items include, but are not limited to:

  1. Ensure that critical systems, especially network edge devices/appliances and security systems, are updated against known vulnerabilities and issues.
  2. Extra sensitive monitoring of key control systems - fully investigate unusual or unknown behavior promptly and completely.
  3. Reinforce safe computing habits for users, as phishing attempts and other human-based threats tend to increase dramatically during major events as threat actors look to try and take advantage of people's curiosity and generosity.
