Root Cause
The Agentless Vulnerability & Threat Detection (AVTD) Azure deployment requires a minimum Azure quota allocation for App Service Plans (Dynamic Y1) and Function Apps in each region where the stack is deployed. If the subscription's quota is at or near the default limit, the Terraform deployment will fail with a 401 Unauthorized quota error.
Resolution
To deploy AVTD on Azure, an App Service Plan (Dynamic Y1) quota of 8 is required for the primary region and 6 for non-primary regions. For convenience, customers may request a quota of 8 for all regions where the stack will be deployed.
In addition, a Function App quota of 18 is required for the primary region and 16 for non-primary regions. For convenience, customers may request a quota of 18 for all regions where the stack will be deployed.
The full list of quotas required for AVTD Azure deployment can be found in the official TrendAI™ documentation: Get started with Agentless Vulnerability & Threat Detection in Microsoft Azure.
