Migration Schedule

The migration will be performed during each region's non-working hours and is estimated to take 6 to 12 hours per region, depending on data volume.

Customer Impact During the Maintenance Window

During the maintenance window, all affected applications will be switched to read-only mode. Customers can still log in and view their data but write operations and data updates will be temporarily disabled. Specifically:

  • No new assets or risk events will be ingested.
  • Risk scores will not be updated in a timely manner.
  • Write operations will be temporarily disabled and will return errors if attempted.

  • Edit reauthentication settings
  • Download agent installer and deploy mobile agents
  • Edit global settings of secure access module

  • Reports app: No big impact — customers still can generate reports with all available data at the backend.
  • Public API: Several APIs which need to write data will be impacted.
Public API

The following Public API endpoints will be impacted during the maintenance window:

  • POST    /v3.0/asrm/attackSurfaceDevices/update
  • POST    /v3.0/asrm/attackSurfaceCloudAssets/update
  • POST    /v3.0/caseManagement/cases/{id}/riskIndicatorEvents/close

Advance Notice

Trend Micro will display a notification banner within all affected TrendAI Vision One™ applications 1 to 2 weeks before each region's scheduled maintenance date. The banner will remain visible until the migration is complete.

What You Need to Do

No action is required from customers or administrators. All affected applications will automatically return to full operational mode once the migration for the applicable region is complete.

Customers are advised to:

  • Plan operations accordingly — Avoid scheduling tasks that require write operations or data updates within affected applications during the designated maintenance window for their region.
  • Monitor the in-product banner — Trend Micro will publish advance notice banners within all affected applications 1 to 2 weeks prior to each region's maintenance window.
