The issue is caused by the cached registry settings.
To resolve the issue:

  1. Open the Registry Editor.

     
    Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify.
  3. Delete the following registry keys:
    • IconStreams
    • PastIconStream
  4. Restart the Windows Explorer.
    1. Open the Task Manager.
    2. Click the Process tab.
    3. Right-click Windows Explorer and select Restart.
  5. Launch the OfficeScan Agent again.
