The Apex One for Mac server and agent communication requires a certificate to provide secure communication channel. A newly installed server uses a newly generated certificate during installation time.
If there are no back-up certificate files prior to reinstallation of Apex One for Mac server, the clients will not be able to communicate with the server, and all the clients will have to be reinstalled. It is therefore recommended to back up certificate files before removing Apex One for Mac and proceeding with reinstallation and restoration of these files.
