To prevent Damage Cleanup services stopping the Remote Registry service:

  1. Open the TSC.ini file:

    • On Apex One: (Install dir)\Trend Micro\Apex One\PCCSRV\Admin\TSC.ini
    • On OfficeScan XG: (Install dir)\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Admin\TSC.ini
  2. Open the file and find the “RemoteRegistry” value and set it to "0". By default, it is 1.

    set RemoteRegistry value to 0

    This will tell Damage Cleanup services not to interfere with the service.

  3. Open the Apex One or OfficeScan web console, go to Agents > Global Agent Settings, scroll to the bottom and click Save.

    This will update the settings for all the agents.
