  1.
Make a backup copy of your policy settings.

    1. On the Apex Central Web console, go to Policies > Policy Management.
    2. Select the relevant Product(s).
    3. Check all child and related parent policies and click Export Settings.
  2. Apply fix module.

    • Apex One as a Service (fix will be deployed by Trend Micro during May 2021 maintenance).
    • Apex Central On-premise (requires Hotfix build 5708 or higher). Please contact Trend Micro Technical Support for this hotfix.
  3. Deploy the affected policies again on the Apex Central web console.

    1. Click each Child Policy then click Deploy.
    2. Click the Parent policy and click Deploy. The Deviations of child policies that belong to the parent policy should change from "N/A" to a number value.
    3. Check Child policy deviations to confirm they are as expected.

In the event that deviation count is still abnormal ("N/A" or "0") after redeployment, it is possible some exclusion settings were not preserved. Users are advised to review the exclusion list and reconfigure as necessary. Trend Micro can also help with policy restoration. Please send us copy of the backup policy when submitting a ticket.
