Deep Security All
The Deep Security Notifier is a Windows taskbar application that communicates the status of the Deep Security Agent (DSA) and Deep Security Relay (DSR) to client machines. When the DSA detects malware, the notifier displays a pop-up notification in the taskbar area.
However, the Deep Security Notifier is designed to only show notifications to the user who accessed the malware file in a multi-user environment like a terminal server or Windows multi-session.
For example, if there are ten users currently logged in to a single terminal server and one user triggers a malware detection, only that user will receive a pop-up notification. The other nine users will not be notified. Note that if the malware is accessed by the System account, then the login user will not see the notification pop-up because the System account is independent from the user account.
This specification does not affect malware events on the DSM side. DSA will report any detection events to the DSM in any condition.
