This is due to the certificates included on Critical patch 12980 (or lower) that has expired on July 21, 2024, causing update component package validation to fail during update process.

This issue will affect the following use cases:

• Users that enabled Apex One Update Agents
• New Apex One Security agents installed after July 21, 2024

Solution

1. Apex One as a Service / Trend Vision One Standard Endpoint Protection will have out-of-band maintenance on August 14, 2024 to address this issue.
    

   • No new agent side program modules will be deployed
   • August 2024 Regular maintenance will be rescheduled to August 21 (for Batch 1) and August 28 (for Batch 2)
